TANGIHANGA ARE PARAMOUNT:
Bookings are accepted on the understanding that if the Marae is required for Tangihanga (Funeral), then hirers will be required to forfeit their bookings, and any money paid will be refunded. Hirers will be notified immediately by the Trust should their booking be affected by a Tangihanga.
BLACKOUT DATES:
From the period: 23rd Dec - 6th Jan
During this period, no private bookings will be accepted due to a Trust decision to make the Marae available to ALL whanau on a koha basis.
**We know that whanau will continue to look after our marae during this time, however please note that if there is found to be any abuse of property/hospitality by the whanau then this decision may need to be reviewed.
